March Calendar
Weekly Events:
Sundays from 9:00 am to 10:15 am: School of Discipleship (Sunday School), beginning Jan. 31st
Sundays from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm: PYG meeting (games, discussion, prayer, fun, etc.)
Saturdays: Planned Fellowship and Service Events (check the calendar for details)
Dear Youth and Families,
I hope your Spring Break is going well. We have had some amazing weather this week...except for the one day we planned to play football. Too bad. Thanks to everyone who joined us despite the rain. We had a good time. I want to hear some stories about what you did for Spring Break, so be ready!
This weekend, we'll have School of Discipleship and PYG as usual. PYG will meet from 5:00 to 6:30 and we'll be discussing Ephesians 2:11-22 (we were planning to do this last week, but due to our Mission evening, we played Bible Jeopardy instead). I encourage you to read these verses in preparation for our discussion.
Read below for more details on what is coming up in the future for our group. One thing coming up that you'll not want to miss is happening on Sunday, April 11th. Pastor Cassidy will join us for PYG and we will have an opportunity to ask him questions...call it "Stump the Pastor"!

P.S. We do not have anyone signed up for snacks this Sunday evening or for April 11th. If you can provide, please let me know.
Things happening in our church that affect our group plans for the next few weeks:
Sunday, April 28th our church is having it's building dedication service in the afternoon. School of Discipleship will meet as usual that morning, but we will not have PYG as it would conflict with the special service. During the special service, we have an opportunity to serve with the hospitality team. We need at least 4 volunteers to serve drinks. Details will be provided to those who volunteer.
The week of the 28th is Holy Week and there will be a lot of special services going on that week (noon services each day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, etc.).
Sunday, April 4th is Easter. We will not meet for School of Discipleship or PYG as we observe the resurrection of our Lord.
Sunday, April 11th we will resume School of Discipleship and PYG...Pastor Cassidy will join our group!
This is an exciting season in the church calendar and I want to make sure you know how it affects our group. Please let me know if you have any questions.
