Redeemer's permanent home will be an aesthetically beautiful, historically designed, group of structures that befit the beauty, depth, and enduring power of the gospel. Plans include:
- A cross-shaped sanctuary with pew seating for 500+;
- Education and administration buildings; along with
- Meeting and dining places.
Buildings will be placed in a unified, attractive campus that contributes to a retreat-like, cloistered setting. Centrally located within two miles of downtown, the Capitol, and the University of Texas, the buildings will be potentially well-suited not only for Redeemer but also for ministry efforts like Reformed University Fellowship, City School, and Community New Start. Completion of the campus is expected to take several years. Plans includes a cloister design as these buildings do, which contributes to the historic, beautiful, retreat-like setting we hope to achieve.
The property we have purchased is located between Manor Road and MLK on Alexander Avenue. It is approximately 11 acres, and is the land upon which Phase One of the Redeemer campus has just been completed. The street address is:
