NEXT CONGREGATIONAL FEAST:

SUNDAY, MAY 6 AFTER 2ND SERVICE

For all you who will join us after the second service: Our Northwest Parish assignment is to bring a Main Dish (casseroles, fried chicken, sandwiches, lasagna, etc.), enough for multiple families to share.

Please bring your dish to the kitchen’s back door (by playground) prior to the first of second service. We’ll be able to refrigerate cold items and keep hot dishes in the warming oven during worship.

For information or assistance, please contact this month's coordinator: to be posted soon.

PARISH FELLOWSHIP GROUPS

Parish Fellowship Groups are a ministry of RPC – "official" decentralized mid-week small group meetings – rather than private Bible Studies or prayer gatherings (in which we may equally rejoice).  This is a Church-wide effort to express our unity and strengthen our bonds of community and outreach in each parish.  Each group will adjust itself as best suits the needs of members as to time, duration, inclusion of children, and so on.  But the groups are NOT gatherings to teach whatever other subject a member would like to pursue, a chance for a leader to engage a particular emphasis, an opportunity to discuss what we don’t like about our church, or a stage for a frustrated member to finally get to “show off” their unique gift

Family Feasting & Fellowship

Study/Discussion Group

We will be reading through and discussing G. K. Chesterton's book, "The Ball and the Cross."  You may be able to find the book at a book store or Half Price Books, or online as a free public domain download (great if you have an digital reader).  This week we will have an introduction about the book and Chesterton.   We have included links for an inexpensive paperback edition online as well as a public domain digital version if you would care to read it that way.  We look forward to seeing folks at the Bocock's.

This group involves a snack and a study/discussion geared toward adults and older children.

Every Tuesday night beginning on Feb. 14, 7:00 pm

At the home of Rick & Candice Bocock

Led by Micah Koch
